Why does the trip to the fishing area take longer than with other charter boats?
Most Croatian skippers use fast fishing boats to get to the fishing grounds as quickly as possible. They may be fast, but they offer little comfort. As our boat is a private yacht, which we also use for fishing, we are therefore a little slower, but we make up for this with a comfortable ambience and a touch of luxury.
What is stand-up fishing?
Stand-up fishing is the practice of drilling a large fish while standing with a waist belt (harness) and a plate resting on the legs (gimbal). The shorter but stronger rods give better control over the fish and make the angler’s job a little easier.
Where do we fish?
The most productive fishing grounds are located a few nautical miles off the Croatian coast at Murter/Jezera/Vodice.
What weather or swell can I expect?
As a rule, we only go out in fair weather and moderate winds. But even a gentle breeze can cause waves to form on the open sea. Therefore, smooth seas and even moderate waves are to be expected. (From 12 knots of wind, the trip is aborted as the waves become too violent)

What do I need for a day's fishing on board?
Clothing appropriate to the season, sunglasses, headgear and sunscreen. Depending on whether you have booked a 2-day charter trip, towels and a toiletry bag would also be an advantage. Swimwear and towel if required.

What requirements are placed on me as an angler?
Basically, you should have a certain seaworthiness (otherwise stock up on medication) and a certain level of physical fitness would be an advantage (big game fishing can be very strenuous). Previous fishing experience is an advantage, but not essential. Respectful interaction with the crew is just as desirable as clean behavior on board.
Will I get my money back if I don't catch anything?
We cannot give a catch guarantee. Therefore, a refund of the payment is not possible if the catch is not made.

And everything clear? Or are there still questions?
Fishing is like poetry, people
have to be born to it.
