Our Rules

Big game fishing is a team sport, so you have to work together as a team. As a result, there are certain rules that must be adhered to:

Rules

1. The customer may be king, but the skipper has the final say. The skipper is responsible for the customer, the crew and the boat and therefore reserves the right to make decisions for the common good. If e.g. If the event is canceled due to heavy seas or a storm, no discussion should be accepted. Of course, we try to avoid such situations. The skipper’s years of experience and knowledge of weather and wind come into play here.

2. The instructions of the skipper and the mate must be followed. This not only serves your own safety and that of others, but also protects the material you are fishing with (brake settings on the reel are taken over by the mate and may only be changed with his agreement!)

3. According to IGFA guidelines, the fish is considered caught when it is next to the boat. We therefore ask for your understanding that, for example. By specifying the catch quota the Croatian government is required to release the fish. Classic capture images are not possible here.

4. Vandalizing boat property and/or fishing equipment, whether through excessive alcohol consumption or frustration over a lost fish, will result in the immediate termination of the fishing trip. Of course, the damage must be compensated

5. If the angler consumes excessive alcohol or is already noticeably severely impaired, the crew reserves the right to refuse to accept the angler. Overestimation of oneself and improper handling of the fishing tackle due to alcohol not only endangers the angler himself, but also the crew.

6. If the customer causes damage to the boat or fishing tackle (accidental accidents, sinking of equipment, etc.), their liability insurance must cover the damage.

7. We see respectful interaction with one another and mutual politeness as a matter of course.

8. Bringing your own tackle is generally OK, as long as it is suitable tackle for big game fishing (stand-up rods from a class of 50lbs, reel with sliding drag from a class of 50lbs, correspondingly strong line). And there is a ban on stainless steel hooks!!!

9. If the fishing quota or the requirements of the Croatian government allow it, the following fish species will be taken: Swordfish and other pelagic fish species (e.g. dolphinfish, stingrays, etc.) Sharks (all species) will be released from our boat without exception!!!

10. The customer must inform the skipper of any illnesses (allergies, cardiovascular diseases, hemophilia, HIV, hepatitis, etc.) This helps us to react appropriately in the event of an emergency.

11. Last but not least: Our boat enjoys a very good reputation in the scene, and of course the crew works hard to get the fish on the hook. However, sometimes fortune doesn’t help us either and that’s why we sometimes come home empty-handed. We therefore ask for your understanding that we cannot give anything like a “catch guarantee”. (A refund of the costs is therefore excluded!)

So are you ready for an experience?

“Water is the most important element on earth because without water you cannot fish.”
